Choose how to play

• Casual: open to guests and accounts, with a bot fallback when no realtime rival is available.
• Ranked: account-versus-account matchmaking with a seasonal rating and match history.
• Private: invite a friend for an unranked match; no account required.

All modes use fixed levels and five-cat teams; each form keeps its Chapter 2 deployment price inside the battle.

Battle Cats PvP — FAQ

Is there a PvP mode in The Battle Cats?

The mobile game has no built-in player-versus-player mode. BattlecatsLab adds free browser-based Battle Cats PvP where two players draft cat teams and a shared deterministic simulator decides the winner.

Do I need an account to play?

No. Guests can play Casual and Private matches; an account is only needed for Ranked seasonal ratings and match history.

How does the draft work?

Each player bans up to two of the rival cats, then picks five, alternating turns while seeing the rival picks live.

Is Battle Cats PvP free?

Yes — free, with no ads and no pay-to-win; optional support only helps hosting and never changes match outcomes.
